New SJS Choir Makes their First Debut in the Community!

Nov 15 2017

After participating in the St. John School Veterans’ Ceremony, the St. John School choir made their debut appearance outside St. John School, at The Estuary Council of Seniors in Old Saybrook. The students sang the theme songs for the five branches of the Armed Services. Four of the students, in addition to singing, also accompanied on guitars, trumpet and the piano.

The students were given great welcome by the members of the Estuary Council Of Seniors. They gave the students huge rounds of applause and welcomed them back anytime. They hope to return with their Christmas carols before too long! Well done to the SJS choir, we are so proud of you!
