SJS Students Wear Sports Jerseys for a Cause!

Nov 9 2017

The SJS Student Council organized a “Sports Jersey Day” on October 20.  In lieu of wearing school uniforms, students and faculty had the opportunity to wear their favorite team jersey for a free will donation to aid faculty and students at Sacred Heart Catholic School in Crosby, Texas who were impacted by Hurricane Harvey.  Student Council members also designed handmade cards for 22 families who were directly affected by the hurricane.

As future Catholic leaders, the SJS Student Council works to promote the Theological and Cardinal Virtues.  The importance of charity and putting into action the message of the Gospel are just some of the roles of the SJS Student Council.  And thanks to their efforts, $775.00 was raised.
