St. John School helps Yale New Haven Children's Hospital

Mar 15 2018

St. John School families, teachers and staff recently donated to the Yale New Haven Hospital Wish Program. This drive was sponsored by the SJS Student Council. It took place during Catholic Schools Week at St. John School. SJS generously donated items such as newborn baby clothing, stress balls, arts and crafts, journals, travel size toiletries, coffee/tea pods and snack foods. SJS parent, Sarah Kelly delivered the items from SJS to Yale New Haven Hospital on behalf of the school. She was assisted by the Prek/Grade 8 buddies who helped her load up the items at SJS. The St. John School mission was for families to help families. We pray for our friends at Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital and hope that these items can provide them some comfort and care. Please see the letter from Karen Brenda, Yale New Haven Family Resource Center and Program Coordinator below.
