St. John School Grade 2 celebrates Our Lady with the May Crowning

May 31 2021

As we know, May is the month of Mary. It is the month which we devote to the Blessed Virgin Mary. Throughout the world, Marian devotions take place in the Catholic Church, honoring Mary, mother of Jesus as ‘the Queen of May”. St. John School is no exception. It has been tradition for us to hold a “May Crowning” every year with our school community. This year, since we are not gathering outside our class cohorts, Grade 2 recently crowned our Lady on our school campus.
