You are invited to join SJS in the Torch Light Parade!

The Saint Pio Parish Knights of Columbus participate in the Old Saybrook Torch Light Parade every year.  They have a small float with the Nativity scene, as a wonderful way to remember the true meaning of Christmas. In the past it has been the only Christian float in the entire parade, making it a very important opportunity of bringing Jesus and His message of love and peace to others.   In past years, St. Pio parishioners and a few St. John School students and their families have joined in the parade, walking behind the float while singing traditional Christmas Carols.

Our goal this year, is to have the largest number of SJS students and families participate in this wonderful event. As soon as the parade is over, we would like the children sing a few Christmas carols on the front steps of St. John Church. We will end the evening with cookies and hot cocoa served on the front porch of the Sisters' convent.  If your family is interested in participating, please click on the link below to register.  The Torch Light Parade will take place on December 10th, at 6:00 pm. REGISTRATION WILL REMAIN OPEN UNTIL THURSDAY, DECEMBER 8TH.   We look forward to seeing you there!
