• After-school Programs Fall 2018 - Signup Deadline

  The deadline for After-school programs for Fall 2019 is Thursday, September 19. Please see here for more details and forms to register. Programs for this trimester include STEM, Public Speaking, Chess, SJS Special Choir etc.

• Chess Club - Week #1

  Thursday September 19th, 2019, 3.15pm — 4.30pm

  Location: SJS Multi Purpose Room

  Chess Club for all levels. Will include instruction for beginners. A snack will be provided. Grades 3-8.

  • October 3, 24 (please note: No Oct 10, 17, 31 chess club)

• Back to School Open House - Middle School - Grade 6-8

  Thursday September 19th, 2019, 6.30pm start - see schedule

  Come visit your child's classroom(s), meet their teachers and hear about the upcoming Middle School curriculums at St. John School. This event is for parents. Parents will also have the opportunity to sign up for the parent-teacher conferences on October 15 & 16 at this event (the Back To School Open House is not intended to be a conference with teachers about your student). 

  In addition, new this year instead of HSA meeting - 1/2 hour prior and after Back to School night starting @ 6pm, parents can get information and volunteer for upcoming school events and fundraisers in school lobby. Volunteers will be there to answer any questions that you may have.

  6pm :      HSA/Event & Fundraising Chairs will be available to answer questions on up-coming events this year. Parents can sign up to volunteer.

  6:30pm :       Grade 6 parents will meet with Mr. Pearson

                        Grade 7 parents will meet with Mrs. Haylon

                        Grade 8 parents will meet with Mrs. Graham

   

  6:50pm :       Grade 6 parents will meet with Mrs. Haylon

                        Grade 7 parents will meet with Mrs. Graham

                        Grade 8 parents will meet with Mr. Pearson

   

  7:10pm :        Grade 6 parents will meet with Mrs. Graham

                         Grade 7 parents will meet with Mr. Pearson

                         Grade 8 parents will meet with Mrs. Haylon
