• Autumn Art - After-School Program (Grades 1-3)

  Thursday October 7th, 2021, 3pm — 4.30pm

  Join us to celebrate the colors and the beauty of the Fall Season while making Art about Autumn. This is a four week program for Grades 1-3 including an Autumn Art Bag, Find and Make a Leaf Suncatcher and Painting En Plein Air. This program includes time outdoors and students should bring weather appropriate jackets, etc.

   

  Schedule:
  Autumn Art Bag: Students will receive an entire seasonal Art Project in a bag with all supplies included to make a masterpiece celebrating the season.
  
  Fall Leaf Suncatcher: students will get outdoors to find the perfect Fall Leaf or Leaves, Flower, or Foliage. Leaves will be pressed and prepared for the Suncatcher.
  
  Painting En Plein Air: Students will get outside and paint a nature scene on canvas. Canvases will be sent home the following week. Weather dependent and may need to moved to following week if weather is inclement.
  
  Suncatcher Construction: Now that our special Leaves are Dry and Pressed it is time to construct and shape our Suncatchers.

• Meet & Mingle - New & Current Families (rain date Oct 12th)

  Thursday October 7th, 2021, 5pm — 6pm

  Location: Outside Grade 2 classroom

  Let's come together to Meet & Mingle with old and new friends! This is our first event together as a school community in such a long time! We invite you to join us to reunite with old friends and make new ones. Refreshments will be served and kids are welcome. Volunteer 7/8th grade students will be on the playground to be with their younger grade classmates.

  Where: Meet & Mingle -Outside Grade 2 classroom - beside playground

  Why: Informing Parents of upcoming events and volunteer opportunities. 

  When: 5:00 – 6:00 pm     October 7^th ( rain date October 12^th) 

   

  Light refreshments will be served

  7^th & 8^th Graders will be on the playground to watch the younger kids, please feel free to bring your children!
