SJS Remembers Veteran's Day

SJS students remembered both our Veterans and active Military Personnel.  Students gathered with our veterans, active military personnel  and parents for our Veterans' Day Celebration on Friday, November 10, 2023.  The welcome and prayer were led by our Middle School Students.  Each of our classes offered a a special presentation.  Grades 1 & 2 presented "The Meaning of the Pledge of Allegiance" following by everyone standing and recitiing the Pledge of Allegiance together.  Our PreK3 & 4 students  waved their flags while singing "There Are 50 Stars on Our Flag".  Kindergarteners sang "See the Veteran" followed by "Tableau Scenes" from our 3rd-5th Graders. A very solemn presention of "The Empty Table" was presented by our Middle School Students.  The celebration was rounded out by our Schola students with "God Bless America".

 

Our Veterans and Active Military Personnel whose family members of students totaled 137 years of service.  Saint John School salute each and everyone of our veterans.
