Fundraiser Overview
Saint John runs a variety of fundraisers throughout the year, but our two most popular ones are the Luxury Raffle, with first prize being a Corvette Stingray Coupe, and our RaiseRight fundraiser, where you can purchase gift cards through our program and a portion of your purchase is donated back to the school. We also run multiple HSA fundraisers throughout the year to support our school through a variety of ways such as school events like our Trunk-or-Treat and annual walk-a-thon, See's Candies and Lyman Orchards.

FAQ's About the Luxury Raffle
Q: Will winners need to be present at the drawing to win?
A: No, Winners will be notified by the contact information listed on the ticket if not in attendance at the drawing.
Q: Can the winner take cash value of the prize rather than the prize itself?
A: No, the winner must take the prize in form described on the ticket.
Q: Can tickets be in the name of two or more people?
A: No, it can only be one per individual ticket. If an order is submitted with two names, the ticket processer will select the first name listed on the payment slip. If unable to determine a single name, the ticket processer will contact the purchaser to confirm which name will be placed on the individual ticket(s).
Q: I am buying multiple tickets for multiple people online. Will all the tickets be mailed to me?
A: No, tickets are mailed out to the name and address provided for each ticket. If there are tickets purchased for multiple people at the same address, the ticket stubs will be mailed together in one envelope. If you buy a ticket online with someone else's name and address and wish to receive the ticket to gift to them yourself, please email the raffle committee at luxuryraffle@saintjohnschoolos.org to let us know. We will accommodate where we can, when we can.
Q: When I pay by credit card online, how long will it take to receive my tickets?
A: Online orders will be processed within 2 weeks. We understand this may feel like a long wait for your tickets. We will do everything we can to get your tickets to you as soon as possible after payment is received. If you have not received your tickets after 2 weeks, please contact us at luxuryraffle@saintjohnschoolos.org with your name, date of purchase (if you remember it) and the amount of tickets purchased.
Q: When I pay by personal check through the mail, how long can it take to receive my purchased tickets?
A: Personal checks received by mail can take up to 4 weeks to be processed. This is due to the time needed to process the check with our bank prior to mailing out your tickets. Please be patient and email us at luxuryraffle@saintjohnschoolos.org to receive a status on your order.
Q: Where can I purchase a ticket(s) in-person?
A: In person tickets (cash or check) can be purchased at the St. Pio business office located on the grounds of the church. Office hours are M:9-12, Tu-F: 9-12 and 12:30-3pm, or after Sunday Mass at Saint John's Church. Address is 161 Main Street, Old Saybrook, CT 06475.
RaiseRight Fundraiser
Our Gift Card Fundraiser, powered by RaiseRight, is an easy way to give back without spending anything extra. When you purchase gift cards through our program, a portion of each sale goes directly to supporting our school.
How It Works:
- Purchase gift cards for your favorite stores, restaurants, or online retailers.
- Use them as you normally would for groceries, gas, gifts, or everyday shopping.
- A percentage is donated back to Saint John School by the participating brand!
For example:
Buy a $100 Macy’s gift card → Macy’s donates 10% ($10) to our school!

Physical Cards: They can be mailed to you or the school

Reloadable Cards: You can register physical gift cards you've already purchased to your account and add funds as you need them
