The Saint John School Charitable Foundation Trust was formed in 2014. Its goal is to ensure that all families who wish to send their children to Saint John School are able to do so, regardless of their financial situation. We believe that all children can benefit from the superior education that a Catholic elementary school can offer. The majority of grants funded by the Foundation will be given in the form of scholarship assistance to students who are in need of help until graduation. On occasion, the Foundation will consider a grant to Saint John School for a special project request.
The mission of the Foundation is to support and assist Saint John School through funding of scholarships and periodic projects. It is the intention of the Foundation to increase accessibility of a Catholic education to families from the lower Connecticut River Valley area.
The Foundation received a 501(c)(3) designation under the IRS Tax Code; Therefore, donations will be deductible to the extent allowable under the Federal Tax Law.
The Foundation Advisory Board consists of a committed group of members who are strong supporters of Catholic education and its value in educating the whole child.

Should you wish to make a contribution to our foundation, you may do so by writing out a check to Saint John School in Old Saybrook, made payable to Saint John School Charitable Foundation Trust.
