HSA Events 2025-26
Our Home-School Association is our parent and staff group.
The Home-School Association offers several social events throughout the year. Listed below are the tentative events to be held throughout the 2025-2026 academic year:
Ice Cream Social/Meet the Teacher, Monday, August 25: SJS families let’s kick off the school year with a Sweet Start! Join us for a fun-filled Ice Cream Social, then head over to check out your new classroom and meet your amazing teacher.
Trunk or Treat, Friday, October 24: The annual SJS Trunk or Treat is open to all SJS students and their families. Join us for a night of costumes, candy and music.
Grandparents Day, Friday, November 7: Join us for the annual SJS Grandparents Day, a special celebration for all Saint John School grandparents. Guests are invited to attend First Friday Mass, enjoy refreshments, and spend time visiting their grandchild’s classroom.
Santa’s Workshop, Monday-Wednesday, December TBD: This is an event during school hours for students to purchase holiday gifts for family and friends. Gifts come home wrapped and ready to put under the tree.
SJS Night at the Wolfpack, Saturday, January 24: Spend the night with SJS friends at a Wolfpack hockey game.
Teacher Appreciation Week, Monday-Friday May 4-8: Celebrate our SJS teachers and staff. This is a special week with a unique theme where we host different activities to show our gratitude.
SJS Night at the Yard Goats, TBD: Spend the night with SJS friends at a Yard Goats baseball game.
Muffins & Donuts with Mom & Dad, Friday, May 1: Join us for a special celebration for all Saint John School moms and dads. Guests are invited to enjoy some muffins and donuts and spend time visiting their child’s classroom.
End of Year BBQ, Tuesday, June 9: SJS families are invited to the school for the end of the school year celebration.
HSA Fundraising Opportunities 2025-26
The Home-School Association offers several ways for families to meet their fundraising obligation of $250 for Pre-K parents and $400 for Kindergarten-8th Grade parents. Listed below are the tentative fundraising planned for the 2025-2026 academic year.
October:
MCM Lyman Orchard Pie/Cookie Fundraiser: 40% of your total sales will be applied to your fundraising balance. For example, if you sell $100.00 worth of products, $40 will be deducted from your HSA balance.
Fundraiser will run from October 3-17, 2025. Distribution will be Thursday, November 13, 2025.
Charleston Wrap Fundraiser: 40% of your total sales will be applied to your fundraising balance. For example, if you sell $100.00 worth of products, $40.00 will be deducted from your HSA balance.
Fundraiser will run from October 20 - November 10, 2025.
February:
Munson’s Chocolates: 25% of your total sales will be applied to your fundraising balance. For example if you sell $100.00 worth of products, $25.00 will be deducted from your HSA balance. Date TBD.
April:
Charleston Wrap Fundraiser: 40% of your total sales will be applied to your fundraising balance. For example, if you sell $100.00 worth of products, $40.00 will be deducted from your HSA balance. Date TBD.
May:
Clair Rayder Walk-a-thon: 100% of your total donation will be applied to your fundraising balance. For example, if you raise $100.00 for the walk-a-thon, $100.00 will be dedicated from your HSA balance.
The walk-a-thon is scheduled for May 1, 2026 per the school calendar.
